Open meetings

These high level networking events typically attract 200-300 business leaders, venture capitalists and entrepreneurs from all corners of the business/technology landscape and geography encompassing London, Peterborough, Ipswich and beyond.

We run at least six Open Meetings a year, including two 'Cambridge Ideas that change the world' events that start Cambridge Corporate Gateway in Spring and Autumn.

Subjects covered during 2010 have included: Bioengineering bugs, Growth capital, Space, Digital media and Policies to help technology entrepreneurs in Cambridge.

The format is typically as follows:
 

• Held at least six times per year, announced on our website/e-newsletter
• Attendees must register on our website (no tickets at the door)
• Cambridge venue / start 18:00 for 19:00
• 'Theme' relevant to members
• High profile chairman/speaker
• Q & A (sometimes with panel)
• Networking over wine/buffet until close (circa 22:00)

• If you are a Corporate Sponsor you may bring a number of guests with you who do not need to be members of Cambridge Network
• We sometimes have up to three strictly time-limited, no props allowed 'elevator pitches'. If you would like to participate please email our Events Manager

Open Meetings are 'open' to all Cambridge Network Corporate, Charity and Individual members. Non-members may also attend and will be charged GBP50 by credit card upon registration.
